Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Soft Skin I have had the opportunity to try Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ Gel Moisturiser and have been very impressed with the results. I have been using it every morning and evening on my face and have noticed how soft my skin feels like super soft. It has also helped on my T zone area where I suffer from dry skin it has helped to keep my skin more hydrated and help with those dry skin areas preventing the dryness. On application being that it is a gel it's fast absorbing into my skin and a little bit goes a long way and feels nice on my skin. I have found that it sits under my make up perfectly and has helped to reduce the appearance of spots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast absorbing This is a beautiful lightweight textured gel moisturiser perfect for those with combination acne prone ski.  I have been using this twice a day and I enjoy how easily it glides and absorbs into the skin without leaving that sticky residue.  It contains niacinamide which helps to minimise pores, help to even out the skin texture along with brighten the skin.  Since using I have noticed a difference in getting less acne and those that I did get, reduced a lot quicker as it helps target those specific areas.  Definitely worth getting if you are looking for something to keep the skin hydrated but also tackle spot prone skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gel Moisturiser - Great! I really enjoyed trying this Gel moisturiser as part of my skincare routine. My skin feels soft and hydrated and overall has improved my routine greatly. When I first tried the product, it did make my skin breakout for a few days, mostly located around my chin. However after this initial breakout I had no problems and it really improved my skin. Particularly my cheeks feel very soft. I LOVED the texture of the product, it was sleek and didn't feel too heavy unlike some previous moisturisers I've used. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of my initial breakout. Would definitely use this product again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth a try if… …you struggle with dry spot prone skin. The gel is a lightweight moisturiser and it has worked well on my combination skin.  I’ve used twice a day for a few weeks now, it’s made my skin feel soft and helped with the dryness I often get around my nose once the weather starts to change. It absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky.  The niacinamide helps to minimise pores and although I did have a few breakouts when I first started using the gel, these quickly dried out and I haven’t really had any breakouts since. It’s worth trying if you want something to tackle dry skin and spots at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gel-o is it me you're looking for? I liked the gel medium of the product. As advertised, the gel was absorbed quickly into the skin and felt pretty lightweight. My face definitely felt more hydrated after application. I started using this as base / primer in the morning before foundation to help with winter skin and it worked well. I did have a few spot/pimple breakouts within the first week of using this which seemed contrary to the products claims, but I found this may be because of the Niacinamide ingredient. Not the most dramatic or noticeable of results after a few weeks of use, but but my skin does feel fresher.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight and smoothing I love the feel that this moisturiser gives, it’s light weight very absorbent and hydrating. I feel it did actually help with my skin barrier and has reduced the look of my acne scarring. The only issue I found with this was it did not sit well with a cream sun cream so for the time I was using this I had to opt for a spray sun cream so that it didn’t flake off which wasn’t the end of the world but I personally prefer a cream moisturiser as it feels less greasy in my skin. Overall I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone wanting to rejuvenate their skin barrier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, hydrating and effective I would like to thank Hometesters club for introducing me to this Neutrogena Clear and Defend to test and review. This is a nice light weight formulas that really helped to maintain the oils in my skin. Its gel like formula really helped my combination skin, it is soothing and almost cooling to the skin as well as being hydrating. While I like something more emolient at night, during the day this is perfect for use under makeup. This is the perfect primer, while it's hydrating, it reduced my oil and gave me a slight glow. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gel moisturiser I was dubious about using a gel moisturiser as typically they dry my skin out awfully, however this did the complete opposite! It left my skin feeling incredibly moisturised all day and actually evened out my skin tone whilst protecting me from those awful hormonal break outs. I noticed a massive difference in the oil in my face aswell, the production of oil was massively reduced, and I’m amazed that in such a short period of time that it has really helped my skin, especially in the winter aswell! Holy grail product!
