Have been struggling with hormonal imbalance for around 8 months and made my hair go thin/fine and really oily especially at the back. Started to get self conscious cause my hair wouldn’t even last a day after washing it before it got greasy and flat again. Found this and wasn’t expecting much but omg my hair is like the way it was before!! So happy!! Don’t know what they put in this stuff but I’m never going back! Anyone who is producing a lot of excess oil/sebum needs to try this. Whoever made it is a FREAKING GENIUS as no other product I’ve found does this so thank you!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clears up acne I have had acne on my forehead and I have read that this can be caused by oily hair. I bought this shampoo because it contains salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is supposed to help with acne... Results: After using this shampoo the acne on my forehead finally started clearing up. It doesn't clog your pores, it smells nice too! I would highly recommend the shampoo for this use! the only small issue I have is it does dry out your hair (not drastically but mildly) but I found this just means I have to condition the ends for a bit longer and it seems to work out well. I would rather have this than acne! Overall this product is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective This shampoo is excellent. I was expecting it to leave my hair feeling rough for some reason but it leaves my hair feeling very soft and in great condition! You don't need to use a lot of it and it smells pleasant. I have sensitive skin and scalp so I was worried it would irritate my scalp but it hasn't at all. It has really made a difference to my dandruff (I get very dry patches on my scalp even though it is generally greasy which causes the dandruff and these have reduced significantly). I have been using it for about a month and alternating it with my normal shampoo. I wash my hair every day in this weather so I have been using it every other day. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works! I don't think I've ever written a review of anything as I'm always underwhelmed, I think my expectations must always be too high. But this actually works! I've tried several other shampoos for oily scalp and this is by far the most effective. It started working from about the 3rd wash. When I used a different shampoo once (purple toner shampoo for my blonde hair), the oil came back. Since using this again, the oil has been at bay. Thank you Neutrogena!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The T-Gel works! I feel like I have got my confidence back since I bought a bottle of this amber gelled shampoo. I’ve had a problem for years where my hair would start to smell because of my oily scalp, it was a horrible sour smell. My head would start to itch and then finally my hair would look like I hadn’t washed it for days, just within an 8 hour period. I finally figured it out what was causing it (even though the doctor couldn’t); it was caused by the harsh air conditioning from the office and stores. I had no escape… …Until now! I read articles online and they recommended using T-Gel as it is formulated with tar, salicylic acid and zinc which help to get rid of bacteria, itchy scalp and dandruff. To my surprise, after using the product once, my hair didn’t smell, I hardly had an itchy scalp and my hair looked fresh and volumised even after 15 hours of being in the office and out and about. The product doesn’t have a medicated smell and actually has a very pleasant fragrance which is not overpowering. One big bonus is that you do not need to leave this product on; apply a small dollop to wet hair, lather and rinse, repeat if necessary (I repeat to get a good clean). Only drawback is that it strips the natural oil off your scalp & hair as it has salicylic acid which is an exfoliant. Make sure to give your head and hair a break so skin does not become sensitive and cause the hair to dry out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed! Firstly, I suffer with greasy hair from the roots down and particularly near the fringe area and the areas to the sides. Luckily, I don't suffer from dandruff or flaky scalp. Having used this shampoo for 2 weeks now, unfortunately, I haven't noticed a substantial difference. My hair still gets greasy by bedtime when washed that same morning and I find my hair actually feels heavier and more lank than usual. I only use a heat protector spray in conjunction with the shampoo, but come day 2, I am reaching for the dry shampoo (which I also dislike). Unfortunately, this is one of the only shampoos on the market that specifically treats greasy hair and not very well, in my personal opinion. I won't be repurchasing I am afraid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from instant relief from itchy scalp I was a bit reluctant to try this as previous review commented on the smell but I found the fragrance to be pleasant and fresh.The bonus however is that the itchy scalp stopped after first use,my scalp felt clean, my hair was full of body and not weighed down as with several other anti dandruff shampoos.Will be bulk ordering next time with 3 for 2 offer!Well worth the money for the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Works! I've been suffering with a hormonal imbalance for the last three years with issues of oily hair that just doesn't get clean. I've used T Gel for sometime and although it hasn't helped with the hormones, it does leave my hair clean for a couple more hours and not weighed down with grease! I love the new formula... there's lots more lather too so the bottle lasts me a bit longer. It works for me...I definitely recommend if you're renowned for having oily/greasy hair
