HOW TO USE
  • 1Apply in the morning and evening on freshly cleansed skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A million times better than others I’ve tried I’m in my late 30’s, still suffering from acne and oily skin. I have tried lots of other products over the years, always being hopeful and giving them plenty of time to work. I found one brand (Biotherm) which was amazing, but Boots stopped stocking and it became hard to get. Back to trying lots of other products and getting disheartened I came across this range. Even better than the old biotherm that I used to use, it keeps oil under control and really battles spots. You should get a separate eye cream if you’re older like me because this cream shouldn’t get that close to your eyes. I use it with the rest of the range. Good luck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I'd discovered it sooner I've been using this for a couple of months. My skin has never looked better. However, at my age (33), it's a little on the drying side (I used to be very oily and spot prone, the oiliness is fading but I'm still a bit spot prone). Works well on my sensitive skin. I use it in conjunction with early aging, sensitive and dry skin products and it's a nice balance for my skin at my age. I wish I'd had it in my teens and twenties. It does have a slight menthol scent and sensation on application, and it's very drying if I'm sloppy and it gets too close to my lips. But it's not super harsh the way some products for this kind of skin concern can be.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but there are better I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my old oil-free moisturiser and bought this. The bottle is good as you don't get too much out at once, and it's a fair price. However, I found this too heavy for my skin in the mornings and just used it before going to bed, which isn't ideal if you're looking for something to use daily as a base for makeup. Furthermore, I wouldn't say this reduces oil production, for me it helped my skin stay matte for a couple of hours, then it returned to its usual state. Overall I would not buy this again as I believe there are better alternatives out there. Shame as I like their grapefruit face scrub!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Apey0935111 I received my neutrogena visibly clear spot proofing oil free moisturiser and decided to use it on my daughter as she had spots. We found the cream had no smell to it which was a bonus for my daughter she was more inclined to try it, she has used other creams in the past the sting her but had no problem like that with this one so another positive! She used it daily and her spots had gone within 4 days! Got one happy teenager! The only down side is that it states it is an oil free moisturiser but we both found it was oily but not a big deal, very happy with this product and would recommend it to family and friends!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good I bought this a week ago following an unexpected severe acne outbreak. Being in my mid thirties and having no idea what to use to help a friend pointed me in the direction of Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturiser. Within 3-4 days my skin looked healthier than ever before. It is less oily and my outbreak nearly all but cleared (I’m a picker so had few scabs). The moisturiser feels light and has slight cooling sensation after applying (not a stingy tingling sensation I was expecting having sensitive skin). I’ve since purchased the face scrub and face wash in this range and I can’t see me changing to any other product. I’m really pleased with results and hope they long continue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the shine at bay! This works very well to keep the shine away. I have changed my skin care routine though after suffering for years with oily skin (now 48). I used to use a face scrub in the morning and then rub my face with the towel thinking I was giving it a good clean, apparently not, instead I was aggravating it and increasing the production of oil. My skin care routine is now; Gentle face wash in the morning, pat skin dry and use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser followed by Rimmel Insta Fix and Matte powder. At night I use a cleanser, followed by a face scrub and a night time moisturiser. This had really worked wonders for me, I no longer have an oily film on my face an hour after applying makeup and don't have to manically blot my face all day. I can clearly see that my skin looks cleaner and fresher and I am so pleased with it. I hope this helps other people as much as it's helped me. After 35 years if misery I am finally happy with my skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best moisturiser I've used Im 22 and have dry skin with acne so looking for something to moisturise without clogging my pores. Used everything from clearisil to more expensive stuff like mac and lush moisturisers. This is the only one I've used that feels lightweight but very moisturising with no oil and doesn't clog my pores. It stops my breakouts and redness that I have from dry skin too. My skin still feels moisturised even after I've washed my makeup off. Long story short it's a really great product, very cheap and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder Product! I'm 19 and still get awful teenage skin with spots and redness especially in the t-zone which can be very oily. Despite the oiliness of the area my spots there often felt flaky and dry and my cheeks and jawline get extremely dry. I bought this product because it contains salicylic acid which I had read was good for spots and I've been using this along with the 2in1 wash/mask for a few weeks now and after the first day I noticed a difference. The moisturiser is perfect for my skin, the oil in my t-zone is reduced but my cheeks feel perfectly hydrated and smooth and what's more my makeup just glides on AND my spots are fading fast! Considering how cheap this is (and you only need a small amount) it's quickly become my new miracle product.
