I used to use e45 but I think it changed when the company was bought out and it started to itch. I have just started to use it on my face as my previous emollient Adex has also started to cause itching after 6 months use. I'm concerned at the mention of a recent change to the ingredients of this neutrogena moisturiser and wonder why the response from the neutrogena team was by private message to one individual and not made public. Is there something I should be aware of. I have a lifetime of eczema and allergies to most skin products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good product dreadful packaging Have been using this for a few weeks-seems fairly effective. However, the packaging is very wasteful-when approximately 1/4 of the product is still in the bottle-the lever action is not sufficient to extract the product meaning the top has to come off, and the bottle has to be inverted ,and shaken .Given the age of many of the purchasers-this is not good design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Peeling of the skin I had high hopes for this one. When I first started applying it, it looked promising-deep moisturiser but fast absorbing. After few minutes I came into bathroom to see white peeling of product on my arms. Went over with my hand through my legs and realised it is peeling as crazy. Went to shower again.

I'd been using happily this lotion for last 14-16 months, my skin is very sensitive, very hard to get any product which would not irritate, plus due to asthma I only can use unfragnanced products. So this lotion ticked all the boxes until I bought a few bottles last week, the minute I put it on my hands I knew something was wrong, it sat on the skin like a grease layer, there was a cheap scent of pear and a few moments later my eyes got very itchy and one look in the mirrow confirmed what I felt, the right side of my face began to swell! I quickly washed it off, took Zirtek and drank lots of water. I had an old bottle too luckily so I was able to compare the ingredients and sure enough list of ingredients on the new bottle was totally different. I reported my experience to the Boots and they could not have been nicer, refunded the total amount and apologised. But I am very disappointed with Neutrogena - no notice of formula change. And why why to change the perfectly good product in the first place?!
