We are committed to advance sustainable skincare solutions throughout the lifecycle of our products and throughout the full value chain.
We continuously aim at developing our products minimizing their impact on the environment:
- In 2009, we created the Global Aquatic Ingredient Assessment™ (GAIA) tool
in collaboration with external experts that analyses what impact an ingredient might have on an aquatic environment and the whole ecosystem . To date, we have scrutinized 1,000 ingredients using this patented tool to help our scientists formulate products that are not harmful to aquatic life and ecosystem. Learn more about GAIA here.
- In 2013, we proactively removed polyethylene (plastic) microbeads from our products portfolio
- 100% of the palm oil derivative in our formulas are certified by RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).
- Additionally, we do not use plastic ingredients such as nylon-12, PTFE, and polymethyl methacrylate in new products.
We promise to raise our packaging standards to reduce waste and minimize the carbon footprint of our products. In partnership with our suppliers, we aim to develop sustainable products and packaging solutions that use fewer, smarter, resources.
